A blazer is a man’s answer to the woman’s purse.  Indeed, when on the go, most men carry many of the following items:

1) Wallet

2) Phone

3) Keys

4) Carmex

5) Cigarettes/Cigar

6) Lighter

7) Medicinals

Dressing well has its functional advantages.  A blazer can comfortably carry the things we need. That’s because a blazer typically contains the following pockets:

1) Outside chest

2) Right waist 

3) Left waist

4) Interior right chest pocket

5) Interior left chest pocket

6) Cigar pocket

7) pen/glasses pocket

Wearing a blazer assists in carrying these items in a more sophisticated way than in your pockets or hand.

This is especially true if one is out socially and bringing a briefcase or bag would be inappropriate or at least inconvenient.
